WHAT IS THE ZEBRA ZQ511?
The ZQ511 is a family of 3 inch medium volume Mobile Printers.
The ZQ511 prints labels and receipts in the toughest environments.
WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT OF THE ZEBRA ZQ511?

WHERE DOES THE ZQ511 FIT?
The ZQ511 replaces the ZQ510 which is now discontinued.
The ZQ511 is part of a family which also includes the larger ZQ521 which handles label and receipt media up to 113mm (4.45") wide.

HOW IS THE ZQ511 POWERED?
With the aid of Add-Ons the ZQ511 can be powered in a number of ways.
SWAPPING THE BATTERY
Most ZQ511 models come with a 3250mAh removable rechargeable PowerPrecision+ Li-ion battery which powers the printer.
The presence of the battery ensures that the ZQ511 is truly mobile with no trailing wires.
The most straightforward approach is simply to exchange a depleted battery with a charged one.
This method allows a ZQ511 printer to be used round the clock without interruption.
It may be helpful to know that Standard Batteries take about 4 hours to charge and that Batteries are a consumable item with a working life of 300 to 600 charge cycles. Appropriate Add-ons can be found in Batteries and Battery Chargers.
CHARGING THE BATTERY IN THE PRINTER
This approach necessitates using a power supply to charge the printer.
Once the printer is charged it can be used as a fully mobile device.
USING AC POWER
This uses the AC Adapter or the 4-Slot Power Station.
Charging can take place overnight.
USING POWER FROM VEHICLES AND FORKLIFTS
If the printer is used in conjunction with a Vehicle or Forklift it is possible to use their batteries to recharge the battery in the printer.
A range of power supplies with Barrel Jack connectors is available to adjust the voltages for this purpose.
Appropriate Add-ons can be found in Using Vehicle or Forklift Power.
USING BATTERY ELIMINATORS
Battery Eliminators remove the need for batteries and can be used to power Printers which are permanently fixed in position. Since these printers do not have batteries they cannot be used as mobile devices.
Typical uses are:
- Printers permanently positioned on desks close to AC power
- Printers mounted on Carts with AC power
- Printers mounted in Vehicles with Lighter Adapters
- Printers mounted on Forklifts with battery voltages up to up to 48VDC
Battery Eliminators require:
- A Dummy Battery and a DC Power Supply with a special Connector
- A Battery Eliminator Vehicle Cradle and DC Power Supply with a special Connector
- Complete kits consisting of AC Power Supplies and a Dummy Battery.
Appropriate Add-ons can be found in Battery Eliminator Parts.
WHAT MEDIA CAN THE ZQ511 USE?
Available media includes rolls of Receipt Paper and Labels.
The media width can be between 35 to 80mm (1.38 to 3.15") The media thickness is 0.05334mm to 0.16mm (0.21 to 0.063").
The media is outside wound on cores.
The core diameter is 19mm (0.75").
The maximum media roll diameter is 51mm (2").

DELIVERY
Our standard charge for 2-3 day delivery to most locations in mainland UK is £10.
This charge is subject to a weight limit of 20Kg.
For consignments which are heavier than 20Kg we reserve the right to add a surcharge.
If your order includes products from more than one manufacturer we may need to ship items from more than one warehouse and in such circumstances there may be a carriage surcharge.
We will agree any carriage surcharge with you before accepting your order.
