GENERAL INFORMATION
The TE200 Series consists of the 203dpi TE200 and the 300dpi TE300. Both are a "4 inch" thermal transfer printers which work with label stationery from 20 to 112mm (0.79 to 4.4") wide.
The 203dpi models have a maximum print speed of 152mm (6") per second and a maximum printable width of 108mm (4.25").
The 300dpi models have a maximum print speed of 127mm (5") per second and a maximum printable width of 105.6mm (4.16").
The printers have the following dimensions 204mm (8.03") x 164mm (6.46") x 280mm (11.02") (W x H x D) and weigh 2.4kg (5.29lbs).
PRINTER LANGUAGES
The printers run under TPSL-EZ which emulates Zebra ZPL and Zebra EPL.
FONTS AND BARCODES
The printers come with 8 alpha-numeric bitmap fonts and the CG Triumvirate Bold Condensed scalable font.
The printers can print most 1D barcodes and Data Matrix, QR code, PDF417, Maxicode and Aztec 2D symbols.
INTERFACE OPTIONS
The printers come with USB.
Some configurations offer a factory fitted Bluetooth 4.0 interface.
MEDIA HANDLING
The printer offers tear-off where the printed stationery is removed by pulling it against a tear bar.
The label media can be fed through a slot in the rear of the printer or internally housed as outside wound rolls up to 127mm (5") diameter on 25.4mm (1") or 38mm (1.5") cores.
A user installable external roll mount option fits on the rear of the printer and can handle rolls of up to 214mm (8.4") on 76.2mm (3") cores.
LABEL SENSORS
The printers have a transmissive gap sensor which works with die-cut label stationery, and labels and tags punched with suitable holes.
The printers also have an adjustable reflective sensor for label stationery with black registration marks printed on the under surface.
MEMORY
The printers come with 16MB SDRAM memory and 8MB Flash memory.
LABEL MEDIA
The TSC TE300 is a thermal transfer (TT) printer model which can print on TT label media with a ribbon or on direct thermal (DT) label media without a ribbon.
The label media must be outside wound and can be continuous, die-cut, black marked, fan-fold or notched. The media width can be from 20 to 112mm (0.79 to 4.4") wide.
When the label media roll is housed internally the outer diameter must not exceed 127mm (5") and the core size should be 25.4mm (1") or 38mm (1.5").
214mm (8.4") rolls of labels can be used with the user installable external roll mount option which fits onto the rear of the printer.
THERMAL TRANSFER RIBBONS
Ribbons can be old style desktop ribbons or the larger 300M ribbons on 1" cores. In both cases the ribbon width can be 40 to 110mm (1.6 to 4.33").
The smaller ribbons are outside inked outside wound rolls up to 40mm (1.57") in diameter on 12.7mm (0.5") cores. The ribbon length corresponds to a maximum of 110M (328').
The 300M long ribbons are outside inked outside wound rolls up to 67mm (2.27") in diameter on 25.4mm (1") cores.
