GENERAL INFORMATION
The TC Series consists of the 203dpi TC200 and TC210, and the 300dpi TC300 and TC310. All are a "4 inch" direct thermal printers which work with label stationery from 20 to 112mm (0.79 to 4.4") wide.
The 203dpi models have a maximum print speed of 152mm (6") per second and a maximum printable width of 108mm (4.25").
The 300dpi models have a maximum print speed of 102mm (4") per second and a maximum printable width of 105.6mm (4.15").
The printers have the following dimensions 203mm (7.99") x 191.5mm (7.54") x 259.3mm (10.21") (W x H x D) and weigh 2.2kg (4.85lbs) for the TC200/TC300 or 2.3kg (5.07lbs) for the TC210/TC310.
PRINTER LANGUAGES
The printers run under TPSL-EZ which emulates Zebra ZPL and Zebra EPL and can also be programmed to create stand-alone applications.
FONTS AND BARCODES
The printers come with 8 alpha-numeric bitmap fonts and the CG Triumvirate Bold Condensed scalable font.
The printers can print most 1D barcodes and Data Matrix, QR code, PDF417, Maxicode and Aztec 2D symbols.
INTERFACE OPTIONS
The printers come with Ethernet, USB and Serial interfaces, and a microSD card slot. The TC200/TC300 models come factory fitted with Parallel communications.
The TC210/TC310 models come factory fitted with a USB Host Port, a colour LCD display and Parallel communications.
Bluetooth is a user installable accessory which plugs into the Serial port.
The TC200/TC300 models have a one button user interface and the TC210/TC310 models have six buttons and a Colour Screen.
MEDIA HANDLING
The printer offers tear-off where the printed stationery is removed by pulling it against a tear bar.
A Peeler or full cut Cutter, or partial cut Cutter is available as a pre-delivery option.
The label media can be fed through a slot in the rear of the printer or internally housed as outside wound rolls up to 127mm (5") diameter on 25.4mm (1") or 38mm (1.5") cores.
LABEL SENSORS
The printers have a transmissive gap sensor which works with die-cut label stationery, and labels and tags punched with suitable holes.
The printers also have an adjustable reflective sensor for label stationery with black registration marks printed on the under surface.
MEMORY
The TC200/TC300 printers come with 8MB SDRAM memory and 4MB Flash which can be extended up to 4GB by inserting a microSD card in the slot.
The TC210/TC310 printers come with 64MB SDRAM memory and 128MB Flash which can be extended up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card in the slot.
LABEL MEDIA
The TC Series are thermal transfer (TT) printers which can print on TT label media with a ribbon or on direct thermal (DT) label media without a ribbon.
The label media must be outside wound and can be continuous, die-cut, black marked, fan-fold or notched. The media width can be from 20 to 112mm (0.79 to 4.4") wide.
The minimum label length is 10mm (0.39") for normal printing and 25.4mm (1") when used in peel-off or cutter modes.
When the label media rolls are housed internally the outer diameter must not exceed 127mm (5") and the core size should be 25.4mm (1") or 38mm (1.5").
THERMAL TRANSFER RIBBONS
The ribbons are outside wound rolls up to 67mm (2.27") in diameter on 12.7mm (0.5") cores.
The ribbon length corresponds to a maximum of 110M (328').
The ribbon width is 40 to 110mm (1.6 to 4.33").
