The printer is fast and dependable.
The maximum print speed is 8ips, the daily print capability is conservatively rated at 1000 labels, and the reliability is 8000 hours MTBF.

The T800 is available in 203dpi and 300dpi versions.

WHAT LABELS AND RIBBONS CAN THE T800 USE?
LABEL MEDIA
All models of the T800 work with heat sensitive Direct Thermal (DT) label stationery, and Thermal Transfer (TT) media with the aid of a Ribbon.
The T800 has a fixed label gap sensor and an adjustable black mark sensor which means that the label media can be:
- Self-adhesive die-cut labels with gaps
- Self-adhesive butt-cut labels without gaps and with under-printed black marks
- Non-adhesive tags under-printed with black marks
- Wristbands
- Continuous stationery, for example receipt paper
The printer works with rolls of label stationery outside wound on 25.4mm (1") or 38mm (1.5") cores.
The maximum roll diameter is 127mm (5").
Alternatively label media can be fed in through a slot in the rear of the printer.
The label media width can be from 20mm (0.79") to 114mm (4.4").
The maximum printable width is 104mm (4.1").
The maximum label length is 3988mm (50") at 300dpi.
The minimum label length depends on the type of media handling
- Continuous - 6.35mm
- Tear-Off - 25mm
- Peel - 25mm
- Cutter - 25mm
THERMAL TRANSFER RIBBONS
All models of the T800 can print on Thermal Transfer media with the aid of a ribbon.
Two different types of ribbon formats can be used:
- Up to 110m long outside wound and centred on 110mm wide 12.7mm notched cores
- Up to 300m long outside wound on 25.4mm cores
The 300m ribbons are usually preferred because they give better economy and require fewer ribbon changes.
Both types of ribbon are:
- 25.4mm (1") to 110mm (4.33") wide
- Available in Wax, Wax/Resin or Resin formulations
WHAT LABEL PRINTING SOFTWARE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE T800?
Most label printers are used in conjunction with Label Printing Software packages.
An example of labelling software is Bartender.
WHAT CAN THE T800 PRINT ON THE LABELS?
The T800 prints monochrome text, barcodes and graphics.
The legibility of small print depends on the printhead resolution, 300dpi being the best option.
The T800 comes with a range of resident fonts and a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes.
Graphics formats include PCX, TIFF, BMP and PNG.
WHAT MEDIA HANDLING OPTIONS DOES THE T800 HAVE?
TEAR OFF
The standard T800 printer configurations come with no special media handling and the printed label media is torn off by pulling against the tear bar.
PEEL OFF
The printer model is fitted with a Label Dispenser on the front of the printer.
As each label is printed it is peeled ready for its removal by the user. The liner is left hanging.
The label stationery will normally be self-adhesive labels with gaps.
CUT OFF
The printer model is fitted with a cutter unit on the front of the printer.
The printed label media passes through this unit and is cut across into individual pieces.
The label stationery will normally be non-adhesive label tags, receipt paper or self-adhesive labels with gaps.

Our standard charge for 2-3 day delivery to most locations in mainland UK is £10.
This charge is subject to a weight limit of 20Kg.
For consignments which are heavier than 20Kg we reserve the right to add a surcharge.
