GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The SR61T family consists of six corded barcode scanners which use different scanner engines.
The members of the family are:
- SR61T1D linear imager 1D barcode scanner (EV10)
- SR61TL standard laser 1D barcode scanner (EL20)
- SR61T2D imager 1D/2D barcode scanner with Laser aimer (EA20x)
- SR61THP high performance imager 1D/2D barcode scanner with Laser aimer (EA30)
- SR61THD high performance, high density imager DPM barcode scanners (EA30 HD)
- SR61TXR near far 1D/2D barcode scanner (EX25)
SR61T1D
This is the lowest cost model in the SR61T range.
The SR61T1D is a linear imager which can only read 1D barcodes (not stacked barcodes).
The maximum working range is about 50cm (19.29").
The minimum barwidth is 4mil (0.1mm, 0.004").
Typical reading ranges are: 5mil Code39 9 to 17.5cm (3.54 to 6.89") 13mil EAN13 5.2 to 28.5cm (2.05 to 11.22")
SR61TL
This is the best selling model in the SR61T range.
The SR61TL is a standard range laser scanner which can read 1D barcodes and stacked 2D barcodes.
It has an excellent working range and can read barcodes from close up to about 150 cm (59.1").
The minimum barwidth is 4mil (0.1mm, 0.004").
Typical reading ranges are: 5mil Code39 10 to 19.5cm (3.94 to 7.68") 13mil EAN13 4.5 to 49cm (1.77 to 19.29")
SR61T2D
The SR61T2D is an area imager which can read 1D barcodes and 2D barcodes.
The minimum 1D barwidth is 6mil (0.15mm, 0.006").
The minimum 2D cell size is 7mil (0.17mm, 0.007").
Typical reading ranges are:
6mil Code39 15.5 to 22cm (6.1 to 8.66")
13mil EAN13 9 to 48cm (1.77 to 19.29")
10mil PDF417 9 to 36cm (3.54 to 14.17")

SR61THP
The SR61THP is a high performance area imager which can read 1D barcodes and 2D barcodes.
The minimum 1D barwidth is 4mil (0.1mm, 0.004").
The minimum 2D cell size is 6.6mil (0.17mm, 0.007").
Typical reading ranges are:
5mil Code39 6.8 to 23.5cm (2.28 to 9.25")

SR61THD
The SR61TDH is a high performance, high density area imager which can rea d low contrast 1D barcodes and 2D barcodes found in Direct Part Marking (DPM) and decode dot peened symbols.
The minimum 1D barwidth is 3mil (0.008mm, 0.003").
The minimum 2D cell size is 5mil (0.14mm, 0.005").
Typical reading ranges are:
5mil Code39 5 to 15.3cm (1.97 to 6.02")
13mil EAN13 4 to 16.5cm (1.47 to 6.50")
10mil PDF417 5.5 to 26cm (2.17 to 10.24")

SR61TXR
The SR61TXR is a high performance near and far area imager which can read 1D barcodes and 2D barcodes at the extreme distances typically found in warehousing applications.
The minimum 1D barwidth is 3mil (0.008mm, 0.003").
The minimum 2D cell size is 6.6mil (0.17mm, 0.007").
Typical reading ranges are:
10mil Code39 11 to 200cm (4.4 to 79.2")
20mil Code39 16 to 330cm 40mil Code39 38 to 700cm 13mil EAN13 20 to 200cm (7.87 to 79.2")
10mil Data Matrix 16 to 80cm (6.3 to 31.2")

DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
The scanner dimensions are 107 x 68 x 168mm (4.2 x 2.7 x 6.6") LxWxH.
The weight of the corded SR31T scanner is 0.195Kg (0.43lbs), excluding the cable.
DROP RESISTANCE AND PROTECTION
The scanner can withstand twenty six drops from 1.83m (6') to steel or concrete.
The scanner is protected to IP54, which means that it is protected against dust (with some ingress) and sprays of water from all directions.
CABLES AND INTERFACES
The scanners come with a USB/Keyboard Wedge/RS232 cable/Wand interface for wired connection to other equipment.
Some scanners are supplied without cables, others come in kits with cables.
Cables are available for USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS232 and Wand Emulation.
A Power Supply and Mains Power Cords are available where power is required.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
The SR61T scanners need power at 5V DC.
The power required depends on the model and ranges from 80mA for the SR61TL Laser scanner up to 307mA for the SR61TXR Near and Far scanner.
This power can be provided directly via a USB connection.
When using a Keyboard Wedge connection power is generally taken from the keyboard. If insufficient power is available an external power supply will need to be connected to the external power jack on the cable.
When using an RS232 connection an external power supply will generally be required.
Wand connections are powered by the connected equipment.
