WHAT IS THE DATALOGIC POWERSCAN PD9531?
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 is a family of rugged hand-held corded 1D/2D barcode scanners.
WHERE DOES THE POWERSCAN PD9531 FIT?
The PowerScan PD9531 replaces the PD9530 and is part of the PowerScan 9501 family.
The Powerscan 9501 family is the latest in a long line of Powerscan Industrial barcode scanners.
The PowerScan PD9531 is the Corded General Purpose model.
The other members of the family are the Powerscan PBT9501 Bluetooth Wireless scanner and the PowerScan PM9501 which uses the STAR Cordless System.

WHERE IS THE POWERSCAN PD9531 USED?
All models of the PowerScan PD9531 are aimed at General Purpose applications.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THE POWERSCAN PD9531?
TOUGHNESS
The PowerScan PD9531 is tough enough for most applications.
It can be dropped from a height of 2m to concrete.
It works at temperatures down to -20ºC.
It is sealed to dust and can be used outdoors in light rain.
POWERSCAN 9501 OPTICS
The PowerScan PD9531 omnidirectional imager has an advanced sensor with warm white illumination which provides snappy reading of all common 1D and 2D barcodes.
There is a choice of two optical systems. These are known as Standard Range and High Performance.
Both use soft pulsing white light to illuminate the barcode.
A red box is projected on the barcode to assist aiming.
After a successful read ocurs a green spot is projected on the barcode.
Standard Range reads 1D codes down to 4 mils in density and offers a normal reading range.
High Performance optics use a liquid lens which automatically adjusts for wide, standard and high density barcodes. This gives higher resolution and is much more convenient to use when dealing with a mixture of different types of barcode.
MOTIONIX TECHNOLOGY
The PowerScan PD9531 uses Datalogic Motionix Technology to make life easier.
Motionix automatically detects when the Scanner is held in the hand and switches to hand-held mode.
When the scanner is placed on a stand it switches to presentation mode.
3GL
The PowerScan PD9531 uses Datalogic 3GL (3 Green Lights) Technology.
Good barcode reads are indicated by three green lights, a loud beeper and a green spot projected onto the barcode.
CHOICE OF 5V OR 10-30V POWER SUPPLY
The PowerScan PD9531 includes one model which is designed for 10 to 30V supplies.
The PD9531-HPE is intended for the low voltage DC supplies typically found in manufacturing.

DELIVERY
Our standard charge for 2-3 day delivery to most locations in mainland UK is £10.
This charge is subject to a weight limit of 20Kg.
For consignments which are heavier than 20Kg we reserve the right to add a surcharge.
If your order includes products from more than one manufacturer we may need to ship items from more than one warehouse and in such circumstances there may be a carriage surcharge.
We will agree any carriage surcharge with you before accepting your order.
