GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Four TD1100 Lite scanner models are available:
- the TD1120-BK-65 has a reading aperture of 65mm and works with USB cables.
- the TD1120-BK-90 has a reading aperture of 90mm and works with USB cables.
- the TD1170-BK-65 has a reading aperture of 65mm and works with RS232 or Keyboard Wedge cables.
- the TD1170-BK-90 has a reading aperture of 90mm and works with RS232 or Keyboard Wedge cables.
In addition The TD1120 scanners are also available in kit form which includes a base and a USB cable.
These scanners read most standard 1D barcodes including GS1 Databar. The scanner can also read GS1 Databar Expanded Stacked, GS1 Databar Stacked and GS1 Databar Stacked Omnidirectional.
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
The scanner dimensions and weights are as follows:
- the 65mm window models measure 160 x 84 x 58mm (6.3 x 3.3 x 2.3") and weigh 0.130Kg (0.29lbs).
- the 90mm window models measure 179 x 104 x 67mm (6.7 x 4.1 x 2.7") and weigh 0.153Kg (0.34lbs).
DROP RESISTANCE AND PROTECTION
The TD1100 scanners can withstand drops from 1.5m (5') to concrete.
The scanner are rated at IP30, which means that they are protected against the ingress of small objects (>2.5mm) but have little or no protection from liquids.
CABLES AND INTERFACES
A range of USB cables is available is available for the TD1120.
A range of RS232 and Keyboard Wedge Cables is available for the TD1170.
POWER REQUIREMENTS
The TD1100 scanner needs an input voltage of 5VDC and requires up to 100mA power.
If USB or keyboard Wedge cable is used this power is normally supplied by the PC.
Most RS232 ports are not able to provide power and may require an external power supply which is used in conjunction with cables that have a power socket.
RESOLUTION AND READING RANGES
The TD1100 scaners can read 1D barcodes with barwidths as narrow as 4mil (0.10mm or 0.004").
The typical reading distance ranges are:
- Code39 (5mil) 0 to 81mm (0 to 3.2")
- Code39 (10mil) 0 to 120mm (0 to 4.7")
- EAN13 (13mil) 0 to 150mm (0 to 6")
