The Datalogic QuickScan I QD2100 is an affordable high performance hand-held linear imager barcode scanner which is aimed at the office, retail and light industrial sectors.
The QD2100 can read all standard 1d barcodes and the GS1 DataBar (linear and stacked).
The scanner comes in two colour schemes and in a range of Scanner Kits which simplifies choice and installation. Some of the kits even include a colour matched stand.

The QD2110 has the special 4 - 14V IBM/OEM USB/RS232 interface.
The QD2310 has the standard 5V Keyboard Wedge/RS232/USB/Wand Emulation interface.

CABLES
The Datalogic QuickScan I QD2100 barcode scanner requires a cable for connection to PCs or other equipment.
The cable carries communication and power, and must match the scanner cable interface.
Most USB, Keyboard Wedge, and Wand Emulation connections are able to supply power directly to the scanner from the connected equipment. In some rare cases external power may be required.
Standard RS232 ports cannot provide power and RS232 connections will generally need the assistance of an external power supply.
Where external power is required a cable with an external power socket must be used.
