PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Zebra GX430t is a "4 inch" 300dpi Desktop Direct Thermal (DT) label printer housed in a strong plastic case.
It prints on Thermal Transfer (TT) and Direct Thermal (DT) label media at speeds of up to 4 inches per second.
It runs under both the ZPL and EPL printer languages.
The GX430t has USB and Serial connectivity plus the choice of Parallel, or ZebraNet 10/100 Ethernet, or ZebraNet 802.11 b/g Wireless, or Bluetooth. The wireless models come with a small LCD screen.
Zebra GX430t models offer the choice of tear-off paper handling or label peel or a cutter.
The GX430t works with continuous media, die cut labels, notched media and black marked stationery.
Some models come with a multi-position label gap sensor and a full width adjustable black mark sensor.
Some models have the Flash memory increased from 4MB to 64MB. The models with the larger memory come with a Real Time Clock.

A Bit More Description
The Zebra GX430t is a 4ips Direct Thermal (DT) and Thermal Transfer (TT) label printer with 300dpi resolution.
The printer has an easy to use single button user interface with coloured LED status lights.
The GX430t measures 191mm (7.5") x 193mm (7.6") x 254mm (10") (HxWxD).
The printer weighs 2.1kg (4.6lbs).
Media Handling
The standard model offers "tear-off" mode where the printed stationery is removed by pulling it against a tear bar.
Other factory installed options include:
Label peel-off (no liner rewind).
Cutter facilities (liner or tag).
Label Media
The GX430t can handle rolls of label stationery up to 127mm (5") outer diameter on 25mm (1") cores.
Alternatively fan-folded label media can be fed into the printer via a slot in the rear.
The media width can be from 25.4mm (1") to 108mm (4.24"). The maximum printable width is 104mm (4.09").
The minimum label length is:
- 9.6mm (0.38") for TT tear off.
- 12.7mm (0.5") for DT tear off.
- 12.7mm (0.5") for peel.
- 25.4mm (1") when used with cutter.
The maximum label length is 99mm (39").
The label media types can be continuous, die-cut, notched or black marked.
The GX430t has factory fitted options which offer a choice of fixed position label gap and black line sensors or moveable label gap and black line sensors.
Ribbons
The GX430t is a thermal transfer printer which can printer on thermal transfer label media with the aid of a thermal transfer ribbon.
These ribbons are centred and outside wound on 110mm (4.3") wide notched cardboard cores with an outer diameter of 12.7mm (0.5").
The maximum roll diameter is 34mm (1.34") which equates to a ribbon length of 74M (244') for standard ribbons.
The ribbon width can be from 33.8mm (1.4") to 110mm (4.3").
Communications Options
The GX430t has USB, auto-sensing Serial (which allows straight or crossed cabling) and one of the following factory fitted options:
- Parallel connectivity .
- Internal ZebraNet 10/100 EtherNet Print Server.
- Internal ZebraNet Wireless 802.11g. Models with this option have a small LCD screen.
- Bluetooth Radio. Models with this option have a small LCD screen.
Memory and Real Time Clock
Two factory fitted memory options are available for the GX430t:
- 4MB of flash memory and 8MB of SDRAM memory.
- 64MB of flash memory, 8MB of SDRAM memory and a Real Time Clock.
Accessories
Accessories include:
- an External ZebraNet PrintServer 10/10.
- a USB Cable.
- a Serial Cable.
- a Parallel Cable.
- a Keyboard Display Unit.
- a KDU Plus Keyboard Display Unit.

Z-Select 2000D
Zebra Z-Select 2000D is a direct thermal, white, premium top-coated, ultra smooth paper label with a permanent rubber based adhesive, ideal for use in low temperature applications.
It has a service temperature range of −40º to 50ºC and the lowest temperature at which a label can be applied is −5ºC.
Z-Select 2000D is designed to provide optimal image quality. It is ideal for high-speed printing applications where premium print quality is important.

8000T Cryocool
Zebra 8000T Cryocool is a white thermal transfer polypropylene label with a high performance permanent acrylic based adhesive.
The service temperature range is −196º to 90ºC and the lowest temperature at which a label can be applied is −29ºC.
8000T Cryocool was designed specifically for cryogenic applications in medical laboratories and hospitals.
