The Opticon OPR-3201 is a hand-held 1D and PDF barcode scanner which comes with an intelligent stand.

When held in the hand the OPR-3201 is a normal hand-held laser barcode scanner with a trigger.

When placed on the stand the OPR-3201 becomes a hands-free presentation scanner which automatically senses the presence of an object and reads the barcode.

The OPR-3201 can read all standard 1D barcodes and PDF stacked 2d codes.

The maximum reading distance for 13 mil (100%) EAN13 barcodes is about 30cm.

The maximum resolution is 5 mil.

The OPR-3201 comes with a USB cable. It is supplied in USB Keyboard Wedge (HID) mode and can be used straight from the box with most Windows software.

For more specialist applications the scanner can be programmed to run in USB Serial (VCP) mode by simply scanning a special barcode.

The scanner is rated at IP42, operates at minus 5° to 50°C, can withstand 1.5m drops to concrete, and has a warranty of 5 years.

The Opticon OPR-3201 is available in a choice of two colour schemes, black and white.
