The Intermec SR61B Area Imager is a wireless industrial hand-held 1D, PDF and 2D barcode scanner. It uses the EA11 area imager scanner engine.

The SR61B Area Imager can read all standard 1D barcodes, PDF, postal, and 2D matrix codes.

The maximum reading distances for 13 mil (100%) EAN13 barcodes, 6.6 mil PDF codes and 10 mil Data Matrix codes are 29.8cm, 20.8cm and 14.2cm respectively.

Three communications options are available.

1. The scanner can communicate directly with Bluetooth enabled Intermec devices and other Bluetooth compliant equipment.

2. The scanner can communicate with PCs fitted with Bluetooth adapters and the optional keyboard wedge software.

3. Lastly the SD61 wireless base station can be used to forward communication to other equipment.

The scanner derives its power from an onboard battery. The scanner be recharged using a Desktop/Wall Charger, or the battery can be removed and charged separately.

The SR61B Area Imager scanner is rated at IP54, operates at -20° to 60°C, can withstand 2m drops, and has a warranty of 3 years.

Some SR61B Area Imager models are available as Scanner Kits.

Other SR61B Area Imager configurations can be built from the Scanner, Chargers, PC Adapters and Software, Wireless Base Station, and Accessories shown below.
