Starting at £500.25 the Intermec SR60 is an extra long range laser hand-held barcode scanner housed in a tough industrial casing.

The Intermec SR60 barcode reader is targetted at industrial and heavy duty applications where extra reading range is required. It will cope with wind blown rain and dust, artic to desert temperatures, off-road vehicle vibrations and multiple drops to concrete or steel floors from a height of 2m.

The Intermec SR60 barcode reader is typically used in warehousing or cold store applications.

The barcode read distances depend on the barcode bar width and the barcode type. It varies from 710mm to a staggering 11m for retro-reflective barcodes with 100mil bar widths.

The Intermec SR60 hand-held barcode reader comes in three complete kits each pre-configured and cabled for USB, PC Keyboard Wedge connection or RS232.

For more advanced applications the Intermec SR60 scanner head is available separately with a choice of more than 10 cables for connection to a wide range of terminals and other computer equipment. A separate model is available for USB connection.

The Intermec SR60 barcode scanner comes with the Intermec EasySet software which is an exceptionally powerful configuration tool.

A small but useful range of accessories is available. These include a universal mounting kit and a holster/fork lift mount.
