The following types of Intermec ribbons are available for Intermec thermal transfer printers.
RIBBONS FOR THE INTERMEC INDUSTRIAL PRINTERS
These Intermec ribbons are wound on 25.4mm cores and the maximum ribbon length depends on the type of printer.
Ribbon are available for the following Intermec industrial thermal transfer printers.
These ribbons are also widely used in conjunction with compatible printers from other manufacturers.
- Ribbons for the Intermec 501, 601, PD4, PD41, PD42, PM4i, PX4i and PX6i Printers
- Ribbons for the Intermec F2, F4, PF2i and PF4i Printers
- Ribbons for the Intermec 301 and E4 Printers
- Ribbons for the Intermec 3240, 3400, 3440 and 3600 Printers
- Ribbons for the Intermec 4400 Printer
- Ribbons for the Intermec 4420 and 4440 Printers
Ribbons for the Intermec 501, 601, PD4, PD41, PD42, PM4i, PX4i and PX6i Printers
The PD41, PD42, PM4i, PX4i and PX6i printers form the current range of Intermec Commercial and Heavy Duty Printers. The 501, 601 and PD4 printers are now discontinued and replaced by the current printers.
All of these printers can use ribbons up to 450M long wound on 25.4mm cores.
Intermec wax, resin enhanced wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons are available for these printers in a range of widths.

The TMX 1310/GP02 ribbon material is a general purpose wax which gives excellent, cost effective print performance on Duratran I uncoated paper and Duratran II coated papers.

Wax/Resin Ribbons for the 501, 601, PD4, PD41, PD42, PM4i, PX4i and PX6i Printers
These ribbons form part of the Intermec Thermamax range and are available in several quality grades.
TMX 2010/HP06 is a standard quality wax/resin ribbon. It is suitable for printing on uncoated and coated papers and some synthetics. TMX 2020/HP04 is a good grade wax/resin ribbon designed for use with coated papers and synthetics. It has good smudge and scratch resistance. TMX 2040/HP13 prints well on floodcoated or varnished labels a tags.
TMX 2060/HP66 is Intermec's the top of line wax/resin ribbon.
TMX 2070 is a new wax/resin formuation especially suitable for Duratran II/Coated Papers and synthetics like PE, PP and Polyesters.
