The Intermec EasyCoder 501 is a discontinued 4 inch 203dpi or 300dpi printer which can print labels from 24 to 118mm in width.
It is replaced by the Intermec EasyCoder PX4i.
The EasyCoder 501 is a family of three closely related models, the 501S, the 501E and the 501SA.
Intermec Labels, Tags and Ribbons are still available for the 501. However, Intermec printheads for the 501 are no longer in production and availability is strictly While Stocks Last.

Wax/Resin Ribbons
TMX 2010/HP06 is a standard quality wax/resin ribbon. It is suitable for printing on uncoated and coated papers and some synthetics.
TMX 2020/HP04 is a good grade wax/resin ribbon designed for use with coated papers and synthetics. It has good smudge and scratch resistance.
TMX 2040/HP13 prints well on floodcoated or varnished labels and tags.
TMX 2060/HP66 is Intermec's the top of line wax/resin ribbon.
TMX 2070 is a new wax/resin formuation especially suitable for Duratran II/Coated Papers and synthetics like PE, PP and Polyesters.
