Click here for Prices and Options The Intermec ScanPlus 1800VT is small, light and comfortable to use. The Intermec ScanPlus 1800VT was designed for retail and light industrial applications and its ergonomics are such that it can safely be put down on work surfaces. The performance of the Intermec ScanPlus 1800VT is exceptional. It works in full sunshine and offers laser like performance which any risk to eyesight. The hanhd-held barcode scanner can read small barcodes with extremely narrow bar widths. This makes it ideal for reading the very tiny Code39 barcodes sometimes found on electrical equipment. At the other end of the spectrum the Intermec 1800VT can read barcodes which are up to 180mm wide. The barcode read distance depends on the barcode bar width and varies from 162mm to 492mm. The Intermec ScanPlus 1800VT is equipped with a trigger and comes in complete kits pre-configured and cabled for USB, PC Wedge or RS232. For more advanced applications the Intermec 1800VT head is available separately with a choice of more than 30 cables for connection to a wide range of terminals and other computer equipment. The Intermec 1800VT hand-held barcode scanner comes with the Intermec EasySet software which is an exceptionally powerful configuration tool. Other models with the same performance are available. The Intermec Sabre 1400 offers the same facilities in a tough industrial casing. The Intermec ScanPlus 1802 is a wireless barcode reader which combines Vista technology with a working range of 15m.
