PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONDATALOGIC GRYPHON FAMILYStarting at £96.92 the corded Gryphon I linear imagers are the latest generation of a renowned family of premium grade general purpose barcode scanners.
The Gryphon I replaces the Gryphon Desk with the exception of the special D200E ESD model and the D230 models which decode PDF417. The new Gryphon 2D Plus can be used to read PDF417. DATALOGIC GRYPHON IOVERVIEWThe Gryphon I is a premium quality corded hand-held linear imager barcode scanner aimed at retail and light industrial applications. The scanner comes with a 5 year factory warranty. Sealing has been improved to IP42 and the scanner can withstand repeated drops of 1.8m to concrete. The Gryphon I has an ESD protection of 16kV and operates at temperatures from 0 to 55° C. The scanner has a maximum resolution of 3 mil for linear barcodes. The Gryphon I can decode most standard 1d barcodes including GS1 Databar. The reading speed has been increased to 325 scans/sec and scanner offers 'snappy' performance. The scanner can read from near contact to about 60cm (100% EAN13) and as such exceeds the range of both the standard and long range versions of the Gryphon Desk. It also has a exceptionally wide reading width. At 31.8 cm the maximum readable width for 13mil barcodes is 25 cm. Good reads are signalled by a beep a a dot of green light which is projected on to the barcode. Damaged barcodes can be reconstructed from multiple reads using the Datalogic PuzzleSolver option. The Gryphon I can be configured using the Aladdin software which is available free of charge. The scanner is offered in two colour schemes, white and black, and with a choice of two multi-interfaces. The GD4130 is a 5 VDC device and has the Standard interface which works with RS232, Wedge, Wand and USB cables. The GD4110 requires 4 to 14 VDC and has the IBM POS interface which works with the RS232 and IBM 46xx and USB cables. Available accessories includes stands and a desk/wall holder.
