The Datalogic Gryphon I GD4100 is a high performance hand-held linear imager barcode scanner aimed at the office, retail and light industrial sectors.
The scanner comes in two colour schemes with a choice of two cable interfaces to suit standard applications or IBM/POS.
The GD4100 can read all standard 1d barcodes and both the linear and stacked versions of the GS1 DataBar.
Some Gryphon I GD4100 models are available as Scanner Kits.
Other configurations can be built from the Scanners, Cables, Power Supplies, Mains Power Cords and Accessories shown below.

CABLES
The Datalogic L GD4100 barcode scanner requires a cable for connection to PCs or other equipment.
The cable must match the scanner cable interface.
The GD4130 has the Standard interface which caters for Keyboard Wedge, RS232, USB and Wand Emulation cables.
The GD4110 has the IBM/POS interface which uses IBM 46xx, RS232 or USB cables.
The communication cable also carries power to the scanner.
Most USB, Keyboard Wedge, Wand Emulation and IBM 46xx connections are able to supply power directly to the scanner from the connected equipment. In some rare cases external power may be required.
Standard RS232 ports cannot provide power and RS232 connections will generally need the assistance of an external power supply.
Where external power is required, a cable with an external power socket must be used.
