DATALOGIC POWERSCAN D8300

The corded PowerScan D8300 Desk is part of a huge modular system which allows the user to tailor the solution to the problem.

To simplify ordering we offer the following complete kit:

Many other configurations can be constructed from the parts described below.

THE D8300 SCANNER

The PowerScan D8300 is a tough industrial laser hand-held barcode scanner sealed to IP65 which is exceptionally easy to install and use.

The scanners can read the following linear barcodes:

2/5 Family, CIP 39, Code 11, Code 128, Code 16K, Code 32, Code 39, Code 93, CODABAR, Code MSI, EAN/UPC, EAN128, GS1Databar, ISBN/ISSN, ISBT 128.

Good reads are signalled by the famous Datalogic 3GL system. Two green lights show on the scanner and a green dot is projected on to the barcode.

Damaged barcodes can be reconstructed from multiple reads using the Datalogic PuzzleSolver option.

Choosing the Scanner

The scanner is offered with a choice of two laser optics.

Standard Range will read barcodes up to 1M and Auto Range will work up to 10M.

In the case of the Auto Range scanner separate models are available for fully decoded and undecoded output.

This gives a range of three D8300 models:

A cable is required to connect the D8300 scanner to other equipment.

The decoded models are multi-interface and work with a range of cables which covers all of the major connectivity methods and some manufacturer specific terminals.

The undecoded model needs a TTL cable

Details of the more commonly used cables are shown in CABLES

CABLES

A new range of industrial cables has been developed for the new PowerScan family. These are not backwards compatible with earlier Datalogic or PSC products.

The main connectivity options are RS232, Keyboard Wedge and USB. Others include Wand Emulation and TTL, and some cables are terminal specific.

A selection of the most commonly used cables is shown below.

Many others are available, please see PRICES AND OPTIONS
